End of Year (Band)

The people that we interviewed this week were Cyarra Baker, Chloe Raley, and Victoria Farmer.
The first question we asked them was: What was your favorite part of going to Dalles? Their responses were, 1) going to six flags and the stockyard 2) The stockyards. 3) Going to the stock yards and hanging out with friends. The second question was: What have you learned this year? And they said, 1) how to talk to people better. 2) How to communicate to people better. 3) hard work pays off. The third question was: Are you going to do band next year and they all said yes. The last question was: Why did you join band and they said, 1) my mom made me and she was in it. 2) I joined band because my mom was in it. 3) I wanted to hangout with friends and I thought it would be fun.

Yearbook

This week we interviewed 2 people Hailey Gripka and Julian Mack
The first person we interviewed was Hailey Gripka, we asked her the first question which was, “how do you prepare the year book,” and she responded with, “we first decide on the theme. And then take pictures for that theme. We make layouts and captions for every picture.”
The second question we asked was, “how do you prepare the yearbook,” and she responded with, “we take pictures.” The 3rd question we asked was: do you like helping with the yearbook? She responded with, “yes it is very fun.” The 4th question we asked was, “do you like taking pictures of people” and she said “yes we get some pretty cool shots”
The second person we interviewed was Julian mack and the first question we asked was “how do you prepare the yearbook” and he said take pictures and then send it to the company and we communicate we talk about the different parts of the camera settings and angels then we talk about a theme then creating a schedule” the second question we asked was “what do you have to do to prepare the yearbook” Take pictures of all the events and activities we do at school
Decide how you re going to carry out the theme whos going to take pictures for what events and create your ladder” the 3rd question we asked was “do you like helping prepare the yearbook” and he responded with “I do it is a lot of fun it helps involve us
This is my first year but the yearbook girls has made it an easy position to step into” the last question we asked was “ you like taking pictures of people” and he responded with “Yes taking pictures is a lot of fun

NHS Questions

We interviewed 4 different people, who were Kyle Pham, Zane Clayton, and Lauren Blackburn. The first question we asked was, ”What did you do to get inducted into the NHS,” Kyle responded with, ”I filled out an application. So in the application there are 3 different qualifiers: leadership, volunteer work, and other community activities.” Zane said, “A lot of hard work, good grades, and being a good person.” Then Lauren said, ”we had to light a candle and then we signed a book.”
After we asked them what they did to get into NHS, we asked them, ”why are you excited for NHS,” we asked Kyle first, and he said, ”it is a good opportunity for me to get myself out there.” Then we asked Zane and he responded with, ”it looks good on college resumes, and it is a big achievement”after we asked zane we went to ask Lauren and she said,”I feel like it would look good for college applications and i am glad to participate”.
The 3rd question we asked was: what events do you do? Advance Band

The first person we interviewed was Jeramiah Lawrimore. “Compatians,” was Jaramihah’s answer for, “What is your favorite part about being in an advanced band?” His response to, “Do you have fun in an advanced band?,” was, “yes.” Our third question was: Have yall performed yet? His response was, “yes.” “Other than playing an instrument do you like being there,” was the forth question we asked and his response was, “The family it feels like a family.” Our last question was: How many times have you performed this year? His answer was, “3 or 4.”
The second person we interviewed was Levi Knight. Levi’s response for, “What is your favorite part about being in an advanced band,” was “friends.” “sometimes,” was his response to, “Do you have fun in an advanced band?” “Have yall performed yet,” was our third question and “yes,” was Levi’s answer. “Friends,” was his response to “Other than playing an instrument do you like being there?” “How many times have you performed,” was the last question we asked him and his response was, “like 5 to 10.”
The last person we interviewed was Mrs. Adams. The first question that we asked her was: What is your favorite part about being in an advanced band? Her response was, “The kids.” “Yes,” was her response to “Do you have fun in an advanced band?” “Have yall performed yet,” was the third question we asked, and Mrs. Adams’ response was, “yes.” “I enjoy preparing for contests and performances,” was her answer to “Other than playing an instrument do you like being there?” The last question we asked was: How many times have you performed, and her response to it was, “30.”

FFA Questions

We interviewed three people: Jordan Klibaker, Even Salazar, and Gage Warner.
The first person we interviewed was Jordan Klibaker. HIs response to, “what is ffa,” was, “I don't know.” The second question we asked was, “what do you like about ffa,” and he responded with, “talking about cows.” The last question we asked was what kind of things do you do in ffa and he said “I don't know.”
The second person we interviewed was Evan Salazar. The first question we asked was, “what is ffa,” and he responded with, “is a class.” The second question we asked was, “what do you like about ffa,” and he said, “I like that it is about the outdoors,” the last question we asked was, “what kind of things do you do in ffa,” and he said that they study cows, pigs, and sheeps.
The last person we interviewed was Gage Warner. The first question we asked was: What is ffa? His response was, “it's a class about learning about farm animals.” The second question we asked was, “what do you like about ffa” and he said that it is fun to get out of school and go to other states. The last question we asked was: What kind of things do you do in ffa? He said, “it depends.”
MS Choir

The people who we interviewed were Hannah, Isabela, and Emily.
Emily was the first person we interviewed. The first question we asked Emily was “what's your favorite part about being in choir,” and she responded with, “everything.” The second question we asked was: Are you excited for the honor choir in two weeks? Her response was, “very excited” The 3rd question we asked was, “are you a soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, or bass'' She said she was a high soprano. The 4th question we asked was, “do you like being in choir,” And she responded with, “yes I love it.”

The first club that we did was Student Council, and the people that we interviewed were Kenyen Finley, Sydnee Prater, and Abby O'hara.
Kenyen Finley was the first person that we interviewed. The first question we asked was, “what do you think about middle schoolers being involved in more school clubs/activities,” and his response was, “I think it would be a good thing because it would help boost middle schoolers' school spirit and it would help middle school kids ready for High School.” The next question was, “how is being in the student council been,” his response was, “It has been fun and we are trying to make middle school a better place.” What kind of activities have you done so far, was the 3rd question we asked. Dodgeball, the dance and the canned food drive and this month we are doing a movie night in the gym, was his response. What are some things that you want a club for was the 4th question we asked, and Theater/drama, fbla, and a lot of the other high school clubs, was Kenyen’s response. Kenyen’s response to “what's your favorite thing about being in the school council,” was “making middle school more fun and getting people school spirit higher.”
